The Complete Chloroplast Genome of Ye-Xing-Ba (Scrophularia dentata; Scrophulariaceae), an Alpine Tibetan Herb
Scrophularia dentata is an important Tibetan medicinal plant and traditionally used for the treatment of exanthema and fever in Traditional Tibetan Medicine (TTM). However, there is little sequence and genomic information available for S. dentata. In this paper, we report the complete chloroplast genome sequence of S. dentata and it is the first sequenced member of the Sect. Tomiophyllum within...
متن کاملPhenylpropanoid glycosides from Scrophularia ningpoensis.
Three phenylpropanoid glycosides named ningposides A (3-O-acetyl-2-O-feruloyl-alpha-L-rhamnopyranose), B (4-O-acetyl-2-O-feruloyl-alpha-L-rhamnopyranose) and C (3-O-acetyl-2-O-p-hydroxycinnamoyl-alpha-L-rhamnopyranose) along with the known compounds sibirioside A, cistanoside D, angoroside C, acteoside, decaffeoylacteoside and cistanoside F were obtained from the roots of Scrophularia ningpoensis.
متن کاملIridoid glycosides from Scrophularia ningpoensis
Three new minor iridoids were isolated from the roots of Scrophularia ningpoensis. They were elucidated as 8-Oferuloylharpagide, 8-O-(2-hydroxy-cinnamoyl)harpagide and 6-O-a-D-galactopyranosylharpagoside. # 1998 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
متن کاملThe Population Genetics of Cultivation: Domestication of a Traditional Chinese Medicine, Scrophularia ningpoensis Hemsl. (Scrophulariaceae)
BACKGROUND Domestic cultivation of medicinal plants is an important strategy for protecting these species from over harvesting. Some species of medicinal plants have been brought into cultivation for more than hundreds years. Concerns about severe loss of genetic diversity and sustainable cultivation can potentially limit future use of these valuable plants. Genetic studies with comprehensive s...
متن کاملDe Novo Assembly and Characterization of the Transcriptome of the Chinese Medicinal Herb, Gentiana rigescens
Gentiana rigescens is an important medicinal herb in China. The main validated medicinal component gentiopicroside is synthesized in shoots, but is mainly found in the plant's roots. The gentiopicroside biosynthetic pathway and its regulatory control remain to be elucidated. Genome resources of gentian are limited. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies can aid in supplying global gene e...
